Are Big Claims By SEO Firms Valid?

The question arises whether big claims made by lot of SEO firms are valid or are advertising gimmick? Now lots of SEO firms claim with testimonials of achieving top rank in SERPs. For this we have to analyze the following things-

• Is achieving top search engine rank for a competitive keyword possible in one month time?
• Is there a short cut route for search engine optimization?
• Does a site with less content achieve top search engine ranking?
• Is search engines biased?

If answer to the following questions is NO then we can confidently say that all the big claims put forward by SEO firms are fake. There is no substantial evidence to prove that top rank could be achieved in a short period. A site can improve its rank in search engine but it is a slow and natural growth.

Search engine optimization helps a site in achieving higher page rank and good rank in SERP's but all this takes time there are no shortcuts which would change things overnight. It requires lot of hard work to move up in search results for a competitive Keyword.

The best method to judge a SEO company is by seeing the projects successfully completed by the SEO firm. By analyzing those projects we can get idea about the search engine optimization methods employed by that firm. If the methods employed are authentic then we can trust the big claims made by those firms but if we can't get any clue about the methods employed by them, it is suggested that one should keep away from such type of SEO firms.

When black hat or unauthentic methods are employed to improve search rank of a site, it results in small quick gain but later penalized heavily by the search engine. So it is inadvisable to work with SEO firms whose methods of optimizations are not clear.
