It seems like there are lots of new articles directories popping up every day. I regularly see advertisements to start your own directories. With so many new directories appearing, which are the best article submission sites? And, to whom should you submit your articles?

I submit my articles to what I consider to be the best article submission sites. It represents about 30 directories that I submit to on a daily basis. As you can imagine, it is a fairly time consuming process. If you submit articles with this kind volume, it is important that you submit only to the best article submission sites. I don't want to waste time submitting to sites that do not produce results.

Only submit to sites that have good Page Rank numbers. The explanation for this is simple. One of the main reasons that I submit articles is to promote my sites. Back-links are very important if you want to improve your site's rankings. To maximize your site's rankings, it is important to get back-links from sites with good Page Rank numbers. Search engines could penalize your site if you have tons of links from poorly ranked sites. To maximize my website rankings, I only submit to sites that are ranked well. To qualify as one of the best article submission sites, a directory must have a Page Rank of 4 or above.

It is also important that a site has been around for a while. Good articles can continue producing results for a year or more. I don't want to spend my time submitting to a brand new site only to find that the owner has decided that he is not making enough money and closes the site in two months. My time is too precious to waste on fledgling sites.

Many people write articles and submit them to one or two sites that they heard produce results. These are the people that claim that article marketing does not work. To maximize the effectiveness of your article marketing campaign, it is necessary to submit articles to The Best Article Submission Sites.
