The Benefits Of Article Submission For Website Traffic and Lead Generation

Article submission is a great way to genuinely increase your organic website ranking and boost your one way links pointing to your website. Not only does article submission have a positive SEO effect it will also help your business to position itself as an expert and build credibility in your chosen niche.

In order to achieve a better organic website ranking it is important to get as many websites linking to yours without you having to do the same to them. This is called one way link building and is one of the most prominent ways to achieving a better ranking in Google, Yahoo! and MSN.

Doing this much harder than it seems but the best way to build your one way links is to submit your articles to as many Article Directories and Ezines as you can. Each of these is a one way link to your website and will generate an enormous amount of traffic being pushed to your website. This also means that the amount of potential leads you are now generating is also growing.

Submission can be a very time consuming and tedious task however there are a number of options which can solve this problem such as article submission softwares.

The results are well worth it when you start to see your ranking increase and your website traffic levels doing the same.

Not only will article submission benefit your website traffic and lead generation but you will also build the credibility of your business by writing informative articles about your industry or niche.

You will position yourself as experts in your field and this will also generate further leads and website traffic which you can transform into buying customers.

Your E-Mail List is Your Online Business

Your e-mail list IS your internet business...

* Your prospects that you're trying to sell to
* Your customers that you can sell to again and again

I'm reminded of the importance of list building by listening to Mike Filsaime speak on a recording today. I didn't know it before, but he was the guy who actually coined the phrase "For every subscriber to your e-mail list, you should be able to make $1 per month."

Where's Your Focus?

Which brings me to this question... Where's your focus?

You might be a high roller internet marketer or blogger or not... If you're one of those guys who are struggling at this thing and you think it's impossible (even a scam), ask yourself,...

* How big is my e-mail list?

* How much time do I put into growing my list?

* How much time do I put into making sure my list is warm?

* How much time do I put into reworking my old auto-responder messages?

* How much time do I spend building a relationship with and giving to my list?

* Have I been doing all I can to drive traffic to my opt-in?

* Is my freebie good enough to ethically bribe a visitor into opt-in to my list?

* Do I ever study how to increase my opt-in conversion rate?

* Do I even have an auto-responder service like aweber?

In the recording this morning, I also heard Mike Filsaime say that if he had to start all over, the #1 thing he would do first is focus on building and nurturing and squeezing every last pennies out of his e-mail list.

That's "The How and Why" You Make Money

This wisdom doesn't just come from studying marketing like a rabid squirrel.

The-money-is-in-the-list has also been my experience. The only money I made before I started my e-mail lists were through AdSense clicks. A few dollars here, a few dollars there. A prospect comes and goes (vanishing forever).

If you have an opt-in on your page, you can capture that visitor and make him/her a customer for life. Okay...

Besides having customers for life, prospects don't normally buy on the first look at a sales page. It generally takes up to 3 or more looks before a person buys. With an e-mail list, you can offer your product more than once and influence him to buy everything you can sell over the lifespan of your business.

How To Make Money Online Fast And Easy Selling To "Boring" People

It seems every day I get a call from someone looking for advice on how to make money on the Internet.

They have goals, great goals, but they are lost. They can't figure out what to sell.

They ask things like, "what can I sell? What's a good thing to sell? What's hot?"

And every single time I tell them the same thing:

You're doing it backwards. Instead of messing around trying to find a product to sell, you need to first find a market to sell to. Once you've done that, getting the product is easy. Once you know what a market already wants, then it is a simple matter of getting it to them.

Only problem is, once they do those steps, they many times fall where they want to sell to markets that are already saturated. Like the weight loss market, or the Internet marketing market (seems everyone has an ebook on how to make money online).

But I always suggest doing the opposite.

I always urge people to find a...well..."unsexy" market. A boring marketing. A market that is huge and flush with cash, but isn't all that exciting.

For example, the parenting market. Thats a pretty good market. I mean everyone has a hard time with their kids. Another one that is huge, and even desperate for answers, is the growing number of people looking for care for their aging parents.

When someone gets a debilitating disease and can't fend for themselves, they will do anything or pay anything just to get some help and keep their dignity.

Those are just a couple examples.

Theres so many different markets. Theres just millions of them.

Youve got to come up with one thats hungry with a real need and where theres money to spend.

Just remember, the market you sell to doesn't have to be sexy and it doesn't have to be exciting. It just has to be big, passionate and filled with people who aren't afraid to spend money.

And if you go for the "boring" ones, you will find less competition and an environment where it is easier to make money.

Marketing Article - Why Write Marketing Articles?

At this point, I am going to assume that you write articles. So why write marketing articles?

I think that one of the reasons is that people are looking for marketing articles they want to learn how to do marketing, especially online marketing, web marketing, article marketing, etc.

When you write marketing articles and post them online to the various article directories, including the one this one was originally posted to, you gain web traffic via the search engines.

You see, people online search the web, and they generally will read the articles that come up in the top ten results of their search results in the search engine they used. And the big article directories, especially the one that this was originally published on, have the page rank to get your article to the top ten results, especially for 2nd and 3 rd tier and long tailed keywords.

So when you write marketing articles, you get world wide readership and that can mean world wide visitors to your web site. An astonishing number of the people that visit my web site, although I am in the US, are in countries all around the world. Literally all around the world. I think I have subscribers in every continent around the world maybe excluding Antarctica so if you are in Antarctica you know what to do!

Anyhow, write marketing articles, submit them to the top 5 article directories (or at least just the one this one was published first to) and watch the traffic roll in. By the way, you have to write more than 2 or 3!

Internet Marketing - 5 Reasons Why It Is for You

Why internet marketing is for you? Check out five reasons why:

1. Growing Market Base. As of December 30, 2007 data, Internet World Statistics reported that around 1,319 billion people use the Internet. Since worldwide population is more than 6 billion, that's only around 20% who is using the internet at the moment. This is a pioneering field-half the crowd has not yet discovered it. As the saying goes, "Early bird catches the worm."

2. Worldwide Reach. That goes without saying. After all, it's called the worldwide web. Do you wonder why some repressive governments jack up the price of having internet connection? Or why some companies sack their employees if they share about whatever secrets they feel is classified? It's because this is the information superhighway - and this is the only superhighway that has no end.

3. Freedom and Flexibility. From flexible hours, to flexible place of residence, to flexible wear while working, this reason has attracted many people from various persuasions-from parents who want to stay closer to their family, to outdoorsy types who wish to surf as often as they want, to adventurous people who are constantly on the move. With internet marketing, your lifestyle need not be tied up because of job commitments.

4. Spending Possibilities. As a marketer, your question probably goes to the meat of the matter: How much is my possible return if I get into it? Besides that the market is growing, Emarketer.com showed that online ad spending in the US totaled $19.5 billion in 2007. And that's just the US. The site predicted that by 2011, US marketers will spend $36.5 billion on online advertising. In 2007, a total of $123 billion was spent online and the growth is said to be 21% per year. And advertisers are spending more on the internet than on the radio. If that's not a good reason why internet marketing is for you, I don't know what else.

5. Relatively Cheap. You start a business and it will cost you money to stock up on the product(s), rent space for it, advertise, hire staff, etc. With the internet, the most basic cost you will incur is your internet connection. The costs can really be pared down depending on your budget. And if you see those testimonies of great income opportunities by an internet marketer, they're usually just an individual who outsource other services they need, if they can afford it.

Internet marketing is for you...and for me...and for everyone who would be willing to take up the time to learn this new way of getting into business, of putting up the effort to work towards profit, of making a living out of it as many are already doing. In spite the loud cacophony of voices around, internet marketing takes time and effort properly invested for one to show long term and consistent profit. If you have all these, there is no reason why internet marketing is not for you.

Simple Internet Marketing Secret Can Quickly Put Tens Of Thousands Of Dollars In Your Pocket

Not long ago I was doing an Internet marketing consultation with one of my website subscribers.

He was selling a travel/vacation deal and was having problems selling enough of them to recoup his initial investment. He wanted to know some "advanced" methods of selling he wasn't getting from reading the books and reading the websites all the people in his industry were recommending he study.

Here's what I told him that just about anyone else can copy and adapt to any product in any industry: I said, forget about what everyone else is saying to do. Forget about all the different selling "techniques" and marketing secrets.

Instead, put up a simple website and do an Internet audio "infomercial."

In other words, get someone to interview you, whether its someone you know, a professional in your industry with some credibility or even someone you pay money to interview you (i.e. a professional interviewer).

And all you do is make a simple outline of all the questions and the concerns that the most skeptical person has.

What questions do they ask the most? What are the most common objections? What is the biggest reason people say no? What is the biggest reason people say yes? What do happy customers say?

And so on and so forth.

When you are done, you now have a CD, an MP3 file or audio tape you can give to your prospects. You have a link to it on your site your visitors can download and listen to. And if you have good quality and some money to spend, you can even take it to a local radio station and get some real mass appeal.

Bottom line:

Anyone can make good money simply by using Internet audio infomercials like this. They are cheap to make and easy to use. And just about anyone who sells anything can do it.
